Investments of €250 Million in Energy, Brown-to-Green Real Estate, and Infrastructure
Sirec Energy plans to invest in projects that focus on technology integration, sustainability, and energy efficiency. Current initiatives include participation in a new hydrogen-ready energy generation plant in Larisa, a €600 million project, and a new €70-€100 million energy storage facility. The company is also engaged in energy reduction projects through Energy Service Companies (ESCO), working on building transformations to enhance energy efficiency, and projects promoting electromobility.
In an interview with Proto Thema, Dionissis Alissandratos, Managing Director of Sirec Energy, discussed the new investments and highlighted that Greece is at a crucial upturning point. He mentioned that if funding from the European Union and private capital is fully utilized for energy transformation, it could result in significant changes in the economy.
