Dionissis Alissandratos, Managing Director of Sirec Energy, spoke to Proto Thema about the benefits of electric taxis and the new programme funded by the Recovery and Resilience Fund. Taxi drivers now have the opportunity to drive modern electric vehicles while contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions. The leasing agreement under this scheme, will cover the costs of charging and insurance, making it a very appealing investment for taxi drivers.
Sirec Energy is investing in the infrastructure for charging stations. “We have installed 30 charging units at locations such as O.A.K.A. Stadium and Piraeus Port, and we will be expanding to 10 central locations, including Athens International Airport, Mesogion Ave., Sygrou Ave., and O.A.S.A.,” Dionissis stated.
