George brings more than 30 years of professional experience and track record in the fields of Energy & Environment Policy, Strategy, Privatizations (Concessions, M&A), Project Finance, Private Equity and Corporate Banking in Greece, Eastern/South-eastern Europe & Turkey.

During his career he held various positions of responsibility at Barclays Bank, Shell, Emporiki VC, Emporiki Bank and the Hellenic Republic’s Asset Development Fund (HRADF). Before joining Sirec Energy he acted as an adviser to large Greek corporations on strategy and investments. He possesses extensive senior management experience at Board of Directors level having served on the Board of 15 listed, privately held, and state-owned companies in Greece and Europe. He is currently serving on the Board of the Hellenic Airspace Industry (HAI) and of the Hellenic Centre for Defense Innovation (HCDI).

George holds a BSc in Business Administration from the American College of Greece and an MBA from Brunel University (Henley Business School) in the UK.
